from high Olympus flows to us the glory

to say the least, this holiday has been pretty amazing. never mind that i was left with only, or perhaps less than, five days of proper rest time (and even then that was spent semi-scrambling to finish homework), it was truly Some Experience, hurhur. :D and y'know, i really wouldn't mind doing it again. (: granted it's Mugging brought to the highest - and i daresay most extreme - level, but it's also helped broaden my scope of knowledge so, so much more that, y'know, for the first time in my life i'm actually not so much of an idiot concerning world history; i'm simultaneously glad to be able to understand financial stuff with a bit more ease now, and discovering constatine cavafy and alexander solzhenitsyn (although mrs hoo first introduced us to the latter) was truly good. (: so well, although it chewed up and gobbled the first two weeks of my holidays up whole, i think i walk away being more informed (together with a newfound ability to tell superbly Geek jokes) and with some luck, also a marginally better debater. :D

but beyond all that personal stuff, let me just state that i really do love the green-jacket gang. ♥ you guys have been beyond amazing and truly wonderful people to work with - from our random quizzing sessions to deciding how to get round finearts sessions (heh heh heh) and even our mass senior division lunches, it's made the whole two weeks a whole lot more enjoyable than it would have been with merely pure, hard mugging. it's not something that i'd usually say, given how i'm not a big fan of our blazer colour, but well, i'm really proud we donned green jackets. (even though hurhur, i didn't. xD but nevermind, i shall generalize.)

it's tempting to want to return in 2010, but alas jc looks a tad too scary, so unless the great zms feels like forming a team (and doesn't mind me jumping on the bandwagon :D) i guess i'll have to put that thought on hold. :/ in any case am sure next year's sec4s will do the green jackets more than enough justice. :D

other bits of holidays were equally awesome, though my mammoth of an essay for mep awaits and regrettably i don't think i can churn out another two paragraphs on stuff without compromising on the quality of my essay. D: ohwell, guess it's time to go back to the usual school life. (:

composed; 3:46 PM :D

lives, writes, sings, plays the piano, and attempts to sound intellectual at times (conclusion: fails rather miserably).

loves music (almost strictly classical, hurhur & inclusive of faziolis!), literature (& also the sciences - no they are not in conflict), making hopelessly lame puns, laughter, white/milk chocolate, cheesecake, the world & the people in it. list not exhaustive, by the way.

wants the world to be filled with peace, joy and love, and also wants (perhaps a little more selfishly) to be happy, plus lead a life of purpose. that would be more than enough. (:

oh, and she likes embarking on her own 'free hugs!' campaigns after exams and the like; not really sure why. D: (at any rate, you can tell that she's random enough.)

loves you!♥

very plain, she knows; but this is probably herself in its entirety - nothing more than a compilation of perhaps-boring-to-you little things (and the occasional Important Event), but also nothing less than all the brilliant memories which constitutes her life, and perhaps yours.

also interpreted as an inability to express with other things but words (nothing more, nothing less!), although even words sometimes won't do enough. but she does like orange.

v2.0 (230208): maybe solid grey isn't that fantastic after all. but wordy is good, all the same. she's weird, she knows.

ver. i-pretend-that-it-is-3.0-when-i-know-it-is-not (070608): i am boring, take that. (:

v4.0 (200908): got bored, so cut down on the quasi-fanciful stuff even more. perfectly plain now, though somehow the background still doesn't work on safari / google chrome. ):
